Nancy Kumar  Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC)

Nancy Kumar is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) at ICSI. She first joined ICSI as a volunteer intern in 2024, and in 2025 became part of the staff, providing both individual and group therapy. Originally from Guatemala, Nancy understands the unique challenges and strengths of the immigrant experience. She is passionate about creating a space where clients feel seen, heard, and truly understood. As a proud ally, she is committed to offering a welcoming, safe, and affirming environment for members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Nancy believes in meeting each client with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and respect for their personal journey. Outside of her professional work, Nancy enjoys spending time with friends, watching movies, reading, and traveling.
